GTA 6 Pre-Order Price Tracker — Compare Editions and Retailers

Welcome to the Glanteen GTA 6 Pre-Order Price Tracker — the one page where you can compare every confirmed edition of Grand Theft Auto VI and its current pre-order price across the biggest retailers. We check these prices regularly, so the numbers below always reflect the latest confirmed pricing for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026, and pre-orders are open now at the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, and Target. Pre-ordering also secures your pre-load, which opens a week before launch, so the game is ready to play the moment release day arrives.

Which edition should you buy?

There are only two editions to choose from, so the decision is simple. The Standard Edition ($79.99) gets you the complete Grand Theft Auto VI experience — the full story set in Leonida and access to the online world — and it is the best value for most players. Step up to the Ultimate Edition ($99.99) if you want the full game plus the extra digital bonus content Rockstar bundles with it. Whichever you pick, pre-ordering locks in the Vintage Vice City Pack pre-order bonus, which applies to both editions.

Where to pre-order

Digital pre-orders on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store download and pre-load straight to your console — the simplest route if you play digitally.

For physical copies, Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, and Target all carry GTA 6 at the official price. Two things worth knowing: Amazon backs pre-orders with a pre-order price guarantee, so you are not charged until your copy ships and you automatically get the lowest price if it drops before release. And whichever physical retailer you choose, the box does not include a disc — it ships with an activation code you redeem digitally.

Price tracker notes

  • Prices can change. Retailers occasionally adjust pricing or run their own promotions, especially as launch approaches. We re-check regularly and update this tracker when anything moves.
  • Digital vs. physical: buying digital gets you a direct download on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S. Physical copies come in a boxed case, but the box contains an activation code, not a disc — it is the same game either way.
  • Rumored editions: some outlets have speculated about a Premium ($109.99) or Collector’s Edition ($149.99), but these are rumored — not confirmed. Rockstar has officially announced only the Standard ($79.99) and Ultimate ($99.99) editions, and we will add any new editions here if they are confirmed.
  • Beware of scams: Rockstar is not selling any “early access” to GTA 6 — scammers are charging up to $1,000 for fake early access. Only pre-order through the retailers listed above.
